There are many ways to embark on a new journey or to even enhance a career. Students with an overall 2.5 or higher GPA are capable of applying to Savannah State’s graduate studies programs where they have the options to study: Master of Business Administration, Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in Marine Sciences, Master of Social Work, and Science in Urban Studies and Planning.

There are also options to apply to Savannah State’s postgraduate programs: Graduate Certificate in Museum Administration, and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Organizations and Leadership.

College is often the place where students begin to discover their passions and decide on their careers. After four years of blood, sweat, and tears, the concept of students continuing their education and the process are easily accessible and the time could be cut in half here at Savannah State this upcoming Spring 2021 and Fall 2021 semesters.

Current seniors that will be graduating in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 and that meet the requirements for graduate studies programs, could take advantage of the opportunity to be exempt from the GRE and GMAT placement test for most of Savannah State Master’s Programs.

The institution's requirements such as submitting the Certificate of Immunization and sending two copies of an official college transcript do not apply to a current student, since these required documentations are already on file. This will eliminate the hassle of submitting the forms to SSU.

Here at Savannah State University, the only outside requirements for current graduating seniors applying for graduate studies would be three letters of recommendation, a Statement of Purpose, Resume, Proof of Insurance, and a $25 application fee.
