Saturday was an eventful day as the Savannah State Tigers celebrated their 2018 Homecoming by beating Norfolk State University 32-3. A crowd of 7,812 fans showed up and showed out in support of the Tigers!

The Savannah State University women's volleyball team (1-12) fell to the South Carolina State women's volleyball team on Friday, Sept. 29. The Bulldogs won, 3 to 0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-23) against the Lady Tigers.

With a 34-point blowout against Middle Georgia State, the Tigers won their first game of the season on Nov. 15 in the Tiger Arena. Junior guard Dexter McClanahan was the star of the game, leading the Tigers with his 26 points, shooting five 3-pointers and closing the evening with three steals.
