On Monday, February 11, the Savannah State Tigers hosted the Morgan State Bears in a military appreciation/pink out basketball game night.

The starting lineup entering the game consisted of: Collins Joseph (G), Zach Sellers (G), John Grant Jr. (F), Romani Hanson (F), and Jaquan Dotson (G).

The Tiger's offense was off to a slow start in the 1st half, and the defense could have been tighter. The Tigers trailed the entire 1st half, trailing by 13 points at one point of time. Toward the end of the 1st half, the defense picked up, getting back in the groove of things losing only 6 points going into halftime.

For the start of the 2nd half, guard John Grant, Jr. got the crowds on their feet with an opening 3 pointer. The offense/defense picked up, cutting the lead down  by 3 pts with a 62-65 Bears lead, 12:38 remaining in the quarter.

In the last minutes, the Tigers were able to take the lead by 2 pts. With 40.6 seconds remaining, Zach Sellers went for 3 and helped the Tigers take the lead. The game concluded with an 88-85 win against the Bears.
